The joy of being an author

Now that I've written and published my first book, I now know that it feels great seeing your own hard work in the physical; like a form of alchemy. Writing my works-in-progress, I see how much better my writing has become in such a short time from the first book. My cadence and flow is much smoother and just all around nicer. I guess it's all part of the learning experience of being an author. I hope people enjoy my first book despite all, for there are exciting things to come for the world of Castle of Calamity.
